Most of us make an enemy of fear and try to avoid it at all costs. We strive to be “fearless,” and may even feel shame for experiencing it. But fear is an incredible teacher, and can often be an indicator that something important is happening here. Fear asks us to snap out of passivity and pay attention, to defend and set boundaries, to take right and precise action in order to protect what is most precious to us. Working with fear in your yoga practice is ripe territory for breakthroughs and can be thrilling, even fun! Come bring your breath and all your "I can't because..." stories and prepare to be amazed by what you can actually do!
